Pilsa Plastik A.Ş. was purchased by Wavin B.V, the largest European company in its own field in the Netherlands in 2008. In 2012, all Wavin companies joined the Mexichem family which is South America's giant petrochemicals and raw materials producer. Mexichem announced its new name as ORBIA in 2019.
